z/OSMF - Using Software Management & Software Update [ZOMFU]

OVERVIEW

The z/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF) is a game-changing innovation from IBM, which, if not already in place at your installation, will soon be. z/OSMF is a product for z/OS that simplifies, optimizes, and modernizes the z/OS system programmer experience. z/OSMF delivers solutions in a task-oriented, web browser-based user interface with integrated user assistance.

In this course, we introduce the z/OS Management Facility and its architecture and describe the components that are necessary to run z/OSMF on z/OS. In day two of the course, students will also learn the installation of z/OS Management Facility with realistic, practical exercises that will reinforce what is taught in the theory sessions.
